Calligraphy Punctuation & Spacing : Calligraphy Letters & Punctuation

So now that you know the punctuation marks,
let’s take a look at how they fit in with the letters. And because they are small, often
very small, sort of tiny marks, we’re going to be able to tuck them into the letters a
little bit more than you might think. So if we’re ending a sentence and let’s say I’m
ending a word n I might just put the period right there. If I’m adding an apostrophe,
so let’s say r apostrophe, I’m going to put the apostrophe up here, s. So depending if
I’m putting a comma in, I might have a y and I’m going to tuck that comma right in. If
I’m ending with a letter r, and I’m putting a period, I might tuck it right under the
letter. In other words, we don’t have to leave extra space for a hypothetical body of the
letter. We’re going to tuck these in close to the letters.
