The numeral six is based upon an oval shape.
So, I’m going to start by showing you an oval. Because, we haven’t looked at zeros. Save
zero for the end. There’s an oval and when we make round or ovoid shapes in italic, we’re
really talking about egg or oval shapes. So, I think it’s helpful to think of the six as
fitting into that space. So, there’s the first stroke of the six. Second. Third. So, that
we start with an oval shape. Make two more strokes. One. Two. Three. Number six. Again,
we’re going to be looking at the proportion and the space that these take up. If you make
this counter small, it will look awkward.
